The Adventures of Ryan
We had a bright sunny day yesterday. I took some picture but forgot to post them to the site last night. Today we have Condition 1 weather coming in again. I heard it described as a mini hurricane. I’m not over looking forward to going out in that to get dinner. Should be alright though. I’m planning on making a trek over to Scott’s Hut on my next day off that it is good weather. I’ll post lots of pictures from that when I do.
Decided to hike around town a bit on our day off here. I tried to do some panoramas bit it keeps messing up on the snow. Shot a bit of video.
I realized after watching the video that the WFAA Logo was covered up.
So I got to go on a Boondoggle today. Any time we get to leave town we call it a boondoggle here. We had a failing power monitor at the Phoenix Airstrip we had to go replace. Our wonderful Network Administrator Peter took me out there.
The chefs go all out on Sundays and soil u s bit. Thanks to all the galley workers who come together on Sundays to feed us.

So we have a bird called the Skua. It’s a scavenger. We also have a wonderful recycling program named after it for unwanted items that are still in good working order. Things like jeans boots, books, decorations, and any thing else. Everyone is free to take anything they want and leave anything they don’t want to pack back. I took a wander over to Skua Central today to look for some slippers I could use at work. Here are some of the pictures from it.

So life here is a bit dull. You get up. Go get breakfast. Head to work. Get lunch, Head back to work, Then go home. You just go out into freezing temps between buildings. Everyone works hard and pitches in. We have house mouse. Where we all do a but of house work once a month in the dorms and at work. So here are some pictures of daily life.
