McMurdo Awards
I promise I’m not posting this to brag. I just though people might like to know.
I received a service medal for working in McMurdo.
I also was awarded Employee of the Month for April.
Star Photography
Sorry for the lack of updates. I promise it was worth it. We had Auroras last night but I couldn’t get any good photos of them. We had very faint ones tonight so I focused on shooting The Milky Way and other stars.

This is what happens when you are not familiar with your camera settings and trying to figure them out in -30ยฐF weather is not the time or place.
I’ll try to start uploading something once a week. I’ve been busy with work and running a few rec events and have slacked off on updating the site. I will try to be better in the future.
Made it to Antarctica….Again
I finally am getting around to updating the blog. Sorry for the delay. I got sick a few days after I got here and my voice was not in any shape to do an update.

I finally got to see penguins in Antarctica. Sadly they left McMurdo a few days ago.

Here I go again
I’m headed back down to McMurdo. I’ve got some new toys to help me document this time. I’ll make a blog post about those in the next few days. One of the things I want to to this year is star photography. I’ll be down there till October.
Let me know if you have anything your interested in down here. I’m going to try to go more in depth with the things I post this time. Last time I wanted to show everything we had down here. This time I want to look into why we have the things we do in McMurdo.

US Travel Update
So a non Antarctica Update this time. I’m traveling around the US. I head back to Antarctica in February. I’m picking out a couple of places to go in the US over the next few weeks,.
First I’m in San Antonio going to WWE RAW tonight. Last night I wandered around San Antonio and took a couple of typical pictures.
